The 2021 Toyota RAV4 adds a new XLE Hybrid Premium trim with additional feature content, and the TRD Off-Road variant gets a revised front skidplate, but the enticing bit is the RAV4 Prime, the most powerful model in the lineup. For 2021, that new RAV4 model gets a 302-hp plug-in hybrid powertrain that enables the compact ute to travel up to 42 miles on electric power alone. After that, the 2.5-liter I-4 can take the SUV another 550 or so miles.
