WHO Gonna Call Who for Vaccine Delivery? This Refrigerated Toyota Landcruiser

Alex Kierstein Author | Manufacturer Photographer | Apr 2, 2021 | Motortrend

The global pandemic requires a global response, something that's been clear from the beginning. The difference between understanding that and actually carrying it out is vast—but getting vaccines to isolated populations in developing countries also something that doctors have had significant experience with in the last few decades. Several of the COVID-19 vaccines present additional challenges, requiring significant refrigeration to stay viable. A specialized vehicle to carry these vaccines at the...

The 2021 Toyota 4Runner Trail Special Edition boasts better colors and a cooler

James Riswick | April 9, 2021 | autoBlog

The TRD Pro has been the top-dog 4Runner model for seven years now. It's the most hardcore in terms of capability and appearance, which perhaps has made it desirable enough to warrant the hefty price tag. There is another factor, however: There has been a new, special color each year, several of which were once offered on the FJ Cruiser. It was Inferno Orange for 2015, Quicksand for 2016, Cement for 2017, Cavalry Blue for 2018, Voodoo Blue for 2019, Army Green for 2020 and now Lunar Rock for 2021. And not only…

New Toyota Trailhunter Ready To Battle Ford Bronco And Jeep Wrangler?

Jared Rosenholtz | March 15, 2021 | carbuzz.com

What is this new mystery model?

Toyota is no stranger to building off-road-capable SUVs and pickup trucks. The Japanese brand currently builds a slew of TRD Pro variants, including the Tacoma, Tundra, Sequoia, and 4Runner, plus the legendary Land Cruiser (for now). Despite catering to off-road enthusiasts, Toyota has never taken a direct swing at the Jeep Wrangler or the upcoming Ford Bronco; even the old FJ Cruiser was not a direct Wrangler rival. But that may soon change.

Meet Five of the Most Reliable Toyota Models of All Time

Vlad Radu | 3/8/21 | autoevolution

Toyota hasn’t become the world’s best-selling automaker and one of the biggest companies in the world by chance; it made a name for itself by manufacturing some of the safest, dependable, and reliable vehicles out there.

Taco Trailer: Toyota’s Custom Camper Trailer Is More Than a Bed

The TRD-Sport trailer uses a Tacoma pickup bed as a space for adventurers to literally bed down.

Greg Fink | Dec. 21, 2020 | Motortrend
Forget racks on racks because Toyota's TRD-Sport trailer is a bed on, in, and with a bed. Created for this year's SEMA360 show (the online replacement for this year's canceled in-person SEMA event), the TRD-Sport trailer concept uses the bed of a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck as the canvas for an adventure-ready camping rig.

In theory, the concept behind the TRD-Sport trailer is nothing novel, as skilled crafters regularly attach old pickup beds to…

Apple or Android? Tesla or Toyota? New battery technology coming from an automotive world leader is sure to bring a massive change to the EV revolution.

If you talk to anyone who has been a die-hard Apple user since the inception of the iPhone, you will come to learn something about them. Apple is the end-all of smartphone technology. All I Want for Christmas Is the Toyota Supra Sport Top

12/21/2020, supraforms.com, Read full article

Adding a healthy dose of retro style to Toyota’s rakish coupe, this new Sport Top concept takes the Supra’s heritage seriously.

Longtime fans of the brand will recall previous generations of the Supra could be opted with a removable roof or t-tops, depending on the year. This concept blends both ideas, employing two composite panels but no center bar cleaving its way through the roof opening. Toyota’s R&D crew in Michigan used 3D printing technology to create the panels, crafting a pair which retain the windshield header shape…
