Next-Generation Toyota RAV4 Spy Shots Reveal Upcoming Changes

Toyota fans, do we have some news for you. If you love the 2012 Toyota RAV4, then Bayside Toyota, serving Prince Frederick, wants you to listen up. Although the compact crossover is in need of a major redesign in the near future, recent spy shots reveal that many of its core qualities will remain intact.

So what will be changing with this upgrade? To begin with, the size of the vehicle. The spy shots of the next-gen Toyota RAV4 reveal a sweeping roofline that works to decrease the vehicle's size. This is a move that run contradictory to the pattern we've seen thus far in the Toyota RAV4 since its release, but one that we're not all that surprised by. As the price of gasoline increases, consumer demand for more fuel-efficient options does too. And for the RAV4, that means taking its size down a notch.

Other stylistic changes for the next-gen RAV4 include the removal of its spare tire from the liftgate and a slightly altered front-end grille that's been inspired by the 2012 Toyota Camry. And that's... Well... It. At least, as far as we can tell.

Unfortunately there haven't been any details about pricing and availability yet to be released on the all-new Toyota RAV4. Many sources can't even agree on what model year it's currently set to be released under. Some claim the vehicle in question is the 2013 Toyota RAV4, while others insist that it's actually a 2014.  Either way, we invite you to stay tuned for more information as it comes out way. Bayside Toyota, located at 1200 Solomons Island Rd. Prince Frederick, MD 20678, is dedicated to keeping you informed.
